FAQs

I'm not sure this is for me. Can I try it before signing up?

Yes! You can go to the contact page to call, text, or email us to set up your free trial classes.

Are there contracts?

We do not require you to sign a contract to join our gym. You can cancel or pause your membership at any time.

What do I need to wear to class?

Athletic/Workout clothes are perfect for all our classes. For Jiu Jitsu classes, please try to avoid wearing overly baggy clothes so that you will not get tangled up with your partner. Remove all jewelry, watches, etc. as well to avoid injury.

What if I have never done combat sports or any sports before?

No big deal! We have classes for both beginners and advanced practitioners. If you are brand new to the sport, our staff will ensure that you are partnered with someone experienced and ready to help.

Do I need to be in shape or athletic to start classes?

Not at all. Our classes are a fun way to get in shape and build athleticism with guidance from our instructors. You can work with an instructor to decide what you want to focus on and what goals you want to set.

What is basic etiquette for class?

  • Keep your equipment and clothing clean

  • Be respectful to everyone. Contribute to our positive gym culture

  • Check your attitude and ego at the door. We are here to help one another.

  • No shoes on the mats

  • Clean up after yourself in order to help maintain a hygienic environment.

I only want to take classes to learn self-defense or try something new. Will I still get the same amount of attention as the competitors?

Absolutely. We understand that competition isn't for everyone. Whether your goal is weight loss, building a healthier lifestyle, learning self-defense, or learning something new, you still receive the same amount of relevant instruction as our competitors.
